What units are your fabrics sold by?

Except for pre-packaged fat quarter bundles all fabrics are sold per 1/2 yard. All fabrics are cut continuous from the roll or bolt. So for example if you want a 1 yard fabric order a quantity of 2 and we will send a 1 yard piece. 

What are your hours and location?

We are located in the Upper Beaches area of, Toronto, Ontario. If you are located in the Upper Beaches near Pickering St and Kingston Rd we can usually arrange a quick drop off option for you.

When will my order be ready?

Our typical processing time is 24-48 hours. If you need your order urgently please contact us by email info@threadtheneedlefabrics.com 

Can you add something to my order?

We are happy to add something to your order without additional shipping charges but you must email us at info@threadtheneedlefabrics.com before your order has shipped. Please email us before placing your next order and we will provide a coupon to void the shipping charges.

What is your return policy?

Please look over your fabric before washing. Generally cut fabric is not refundable unless there is an error on our part or a factory defect. If you are unsatisfied please e-mail us and include a photo with your e-mail if possible, we will work with you to  on a solution.

It is normal for there to be small flaws close to the selvedge edge, especially for knit fabrics, we cut an extra cm on all cuts and more if there flaws near the edge.

Unopened packaged notions and accessories are fully returnable.

Do you provide swatches? 

We are temporarily not offering swatches but we will will in the near future. 

How do I figure out what the fabric weight is?

We try to list fabric weight on each fabric so you can better plan. The characteristics of a given weight vary based on fabric weave. Generally fabrics less than 120 gsm are consider lightweight and are usually semi-sheet. Fabrics closer to 300 GSM are consider heavy and are suitable for things such hoodies.

Do you offer local pickup?

Yes, 7 days a week from 11 am to 9 pm. Please use Local Pick Up at check out.
