FAQs

What units are your fabrics sold by?

Except for pre-packaged fat quarter bundles all fabrics are sold per 1/4 yard. All fabrics are cut continuously from the roll or bolt. So for example if you want a 1 yard fabric order a quantity of 4 and I will send a 1 continuous yard piece.

Help, I need to contact someone!

Please e-mail me (Jamie) at info@blockcollectivepatterns.com with any questions, I am usually able to respond within an hour Monday - Friday between 9 am - 4:30 pm PST.

What is your return policy?

Please look over your fabric before washing. Generally cut fabric is not refundable unless there is an error on our part or a factory defect. If you are unsatisfied please e-mail me and include a photo with your e-mail if possible, I will work with you on a solution.

It is normal for there to be small flaws close to the selvedge edge, especially for knit fabrics, I cut an extra cm on most cuts and more if there flaws near the edge.

Unopened packaged notions and accessories are fully refundable.

Do you provide swatches?

Swatches are not currently available.

How do I figure out what the fabric weight is?

I try to list fabric weight on each fabric so you can better plan. The characteristics of a given weight vary based on fabric weave. Generally fabrics less than 120 gsm are consider lightweight and are usually semi-sheet. Fabrics closer to 300 GSM are consider heavy and are suitable for things such hoodies.

Do you offer local pickup?
